Gaynor Weavers started her career in scientific research at Cardiff University, followed by primary/secondary teacher training in London. Since then she has taught all age ranges from 3 years old to adult in a variety of schools and colleges across England and Wales.

For seven years Gaynor worked full-time as a primary science and thinking skills specialist for several Local Authorities and now, as an independent consultant, she provides support and guidance for teaching and support staff nationwide.

She has written for the Open University and is engaged on a book on improving children’s observational skills in science at present, called ‘Made You Look!’ - due to be published next year.
